Cost: $35.00 per student    Advisors may attend FREE!

        * Note - for every 5 students registered from a school, you will receive 1 free! *

Click on the Registration Form below to access and complete registration for each student and advisor. Last day to register for this event is March 5th, 2021.

Please note - we ask that all student participants provide an email address NOT issued by the school. Most districts block outside senders. It is very important that we be able to communicate with students via email. Thank you for your cooperation.

STATE REPRESENTATIVE CANDIDATES

Information Packet and Application may be accessed below. Applications and All required materials are due by February 26th, 2021.

Each member school may have 1 (one) State Representative candidate. Senior High candidates must be in 9th, 10th, or 11th grade. Middle Level candidates must be in 6th or 7th grade. The term runs from the time of election through the next State Representative election.

OASL STATE CONFERENCE SERVICE PROJECT

This year, we will be collecting monetary donations to benefit Feeding Medina County. Our conference service project is always chosen by our host school, which was to be Medina High School this year. While we are not able to gather in Medina, we are excited to support this worthy cause! Here is a link for more information about the organization: https://feedingmedinacounty.org/  School delegations are encouraged to create and carry out a fundraising project with proceeds going to this worthy cause.

SHOE BOX PARADE

Brand new for State Conference 2021! We are excited for OASL's FIRST EVER Shoe Box Parade! In lieu of our traditional Hall of Ideas, this event promises to be a ton of fun! Here's how it works:

Theme: Our Incredible School

Instructions:

1) Grab a "shoe box" or something similarly inspiring. Start with a base like a box, a crate, a tub, or a container of your choice. Whatever you use will need to be presented by 1 or 2 students, so be sure it's of a manageable size, weight, etc.

2) Design your "float". Be sure it follows our theme and be creative!

3) Gather your supplies and go to work! Your float can be made from items you already have at home or school: Artificial flowers, craft supplies, construction paper, dolls/action figures, paper mache', clay, paint, markers, sequins, seeds - anything that will help bring your float to life!

Rumor has that some prizes will be awarded. Have fun!
