Support OASC

Anybody can help support OASC by either volunteering your time or with financial contributions.

Volunteering Your Time

There are several options available for you to volunteer your time with OASC.

Leadership Team

OASC relies on a vibrant staff of high school students to lead its workshops.

If you want to join the senior high workshop staff, send this form to the OASC office and feel free to contact us with any questions!

Executive Board

OASC is led by students and student council advisors from across the State. If you want to participate in the leadership and direction of the organization, consider volunteering for the Board. More information can be found on this page.

Financial Contributions

Allies of OASC

A few years ago, advisers requested that we create another level of "membership" so that they could have our publications sent directly to the homes of some of their students. In response to this request, OASC created the "Ally of OASC" membership. Basically, it means when a person becomes and "Ally," they are placed on a special mailing list. LEADS and UPDATE that are sent to members schools are also sent to the Allies.

Friends of OASC

In order to generate additional funds, about 15 years ago we created the "Friends of OASC" program. Similar to a "patrons" group, "Friends of OASC" are people who donate money to OASC and we list them in our State Conference program and our last issue of either LEADS or UPDATE in May.

Focus on the Future

During the 2003 year, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Ohio Association of Student Councils, we sponsored a special funding drive to help upgrade the equipment and office systems of the association. The drive was called "Focus on the Future."
